Applications are invited for two positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for DST sponsored project by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Please send the soft copy (via mail) and hard copy (via Post or Courier) of complete bio-data, along with self-attested copies of supporting educational certificates to the Principal Investigator before June 04, 2017. 

Sl:No Position Duration Qualification
1 Junior Research Fellow 3 Years

Required qualification:

(a) M.Tech. / M.E / M.S / (Min 65% or 7.0 GPA or Equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Concrete Technology, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering.

(b) Experience in Chemical Analysis of Materials

2 Junior Research Fellow 3 Years

Required Qualification:

(a) M.Tech. / M.E / M.S / (Min 65% or 7.0 GPA or Equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Structural Engineeirng, Energy Engineering.

(b) Experience in ABAQUS FEA and finite difference analysis.

(c) Programming experience in Matlab, Python

Additional Information:

  • Preferred Qualification for both positions: GATE / NET Qualified
  • Salary: Rs. 25,000 + HRA for First and Second Year, Rs. 28,000 + HRA for Third Year (as per DST Norms)

    • No travelling or other allowances will be given.
    • Candidates shortlisted for exam and interview should appear in person with originals of degree certificates, Date of Birth Certificate and other relevant documents (e.g. Publications, Awards, Recommendations, etc.)
    • The position is co-terminus with the project.
    • The Principal Investigator and The University reserve the right to terminate the engagement at any time upon the unsatisfactory performance of the JRF.
