Student Research

Sowing seeds of innovation...

SRM University organizes Conferences, Seminars and Workshops periodically. These activities and forums help expose young minds to the latest innovations and scientific trends, thereby generating an interest in research.

Students are also encouraged to take up innovative, socially relevant research projects. Such projects are funded by SRM University - a few examples are:

  • Antibacterial effect of nano particles of metals such as silver, copper, iron and manganese
  • Bio-sealant properties of Bacillus sphaericus
  • Biogas production from human waste generated during railway journey
  • Antibacterial potential of coconut shell extract on skin infections
  • Human - Computer interface

Students are also provided financial support to present their research papers in International Conferences across the world.
